Eagle Esports Teams Secure Division Leads

Four teams participating in 欧博娱乐城鈥檚 (欧博娱乐城) Eagle ESports
recently secured the lead in their divisions, with Rainbow 6, League of Legends, Rocket
League and Overwatch looking to finish strong in the regular season of the National
ESports Collegiate Conference (NECC).
欧博娱乐城 Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Denny Bubrig says he鈥檚 pleased with the progress the program has made in only its third semester of active competition. Approximately 50 欧博娱乐城 students participate in the program.
鈥淲e have made fantastic progress, but there鈥檚 more to be done,鈥� he said of the competitiveness of the 欧博娱乐城 teams. 鈥淲e want to be one of the best programs in the region, if not the country.鈥�
Since 欧博娱乐城 Eagle ESports first launched, collegiate programs have doubled nationally, Dr. Bubrig further noted.
鈥淲hen we first started our research into starting a program here, there were a little over 200 programs across the country, and now that number is close to 440,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a growing industry that appears to be here for a while.鈥�
