Aquatic Toxicology Laboratory

The Aquatic Toxicology Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support a wide range of high throughput ecotoxicology experiments and produce results at scale. It is supported by staff at GCRL to provide high-quality cutting-edge ecotoxicology research to understand and protect the environment and improve ecosystem management practices for the Gulf and beyond.

and Safety

The GCRL Environmental Health & Safety Officer provides oversight and services to our faculty, staff and students to promote safe research and teaching environments and alleviate impacts to our surrounding community.

Facilities Reservations

The Gulf Coast Research Laboratory hosts a wide variety of conference and meeting spaces as well as short term lodging and catering options.

GCRL Museum

The museum serves as the primary repository for specimens obtained during ongoing local, national, and international research programs conducted at the Laboratory and at other regional institutions, thereby meeting its chartered purpose of studying and disseminating specimen-based information for research and academic purposes.

 

library

Gunter Library

The Gunter Library provides technical information for research staff, resident faculty and students, and visitors. Included are files of abstracts and reprints, books and journals, expedition reports, dissertations, and reference works. Special book collections support the academic program of the Laboratory.
